The vision of the Tuscola County Economic Development Corporation is to provide continuous improvement in the quality of life of Tuscola County citizens through economic development.  Our vision follows the EDC's mission to promote an entrepreneurial spirit by fostering, encouraging, and assisting new and existing businesses in starting, expanding and growing Tuscola County's job base by retaining and the creation of jobs. 

A goal of the Tuscola County EDC is to have continuous improvement in the EDC's use of resources to have an further advancement of our mission to have achievement of our goals.

This means an important goal is to support the needs of entrepreneurs and businesses by providing information regarding available resources that help these interested parties and assisting them financially when appropriate.

Another goal that fits into the EDC's strategic vision is to improve visibility of Tuscola County resources through education and the communication of services and successes of the Tuscola County EDC organization.

The EDC will coordinate EDC initiatives through partnerships with schools, libraries, and other Tuscola County community entities to enhance the quality of life in Tuscola County.
